We have spent the last 3 years completing renovations in our current house and have reached a point where we really need to start from scratch in a house designed just for us.
We have been thinking about building for the past few years but have now finally taken the plunge.
After months of searching and deciding where we wanted to live, I am happy to say that we have just put down a deposit on an acreage block in the Spring Mountain Estate in Greenbank.
It is a north facing block with a large hill/mountain behind, it still gets a heap of sun even in winter, so that will be perfect for the solar power we are planning on putting in.
Tomorrow we are off to meet with a builder to discuss the plan we have in mind and see what they can come up with.
We are really itching to get the land settlement out of the way so we can start the build process!
