We have progress to report! The land contract has now finally reached the mortgage broker and the valuation on the block is being arranged for tomorrow, which means we should hopefully have finance fully approved by next week.
So things are ticking along finally.
We have also decided on a single level house design we like and think will work well for what we are after, it has our essentials - a huge master with double shower, home theatre, big pantry and an extra wide double garage.
Our plan has been sent to a custom builder that we are in the process of getting a quote from along with our 3 page list of house changes/preferences for the build - and that just covers the basic stuff like insulation! Just wait till we have to start choosing light switches and door handles.
