Quite a bit to update this week, the scaffolding is now down so we can really see the house taking shape, we were left with about 7 pallets of bricks that we'll have to move, but still they will come in useful for when we do landscaping after moving in.
Here's what the house looks like now:
The painting has started on the cladding, this is what the finished product will look like all round, the cladding is painted Provincial Grey and the exposed eaves are Broken Bark.
The inside of the house is now full of fluffy pink insulation reminiscent of marshmallows and we were surprised to find that the gyprocking had started upstairs already, here's the master ensuite with the double shower including the niche for our toiletries:

This is the WIR for the above bedroom, we actually managed to reclaim about 400mm of space in this wardrobe by getting the framing removed from the plumbing stack that wasn't being used
Downstairs is still waiting to be covered, but it gave us a great opportunity to sneak in on the weekend an add even more insulation to the plumbing stacks and the home theatre, we ended up using R3.0 ceiling batts as they were only $20 a bag from Bunnings and as its just additional to the existing acoustic we didn't think it would matter too much, here are our batts in the dining plumbing stack:
And in the bulkhead and plumbing stack in the theatre, we are also getting double gyprock in this room due to an error on Plantation's behalf where they did not put insulation in the walls before putting the plywood on
