Recently we decided that it might be a good idea to have some actual bench space in the laundry rather than just the tub that was in the plans, so off went another email to Plantation with a request for a quote on making a few additions to the laundry, mainly adding more hanging cupboards and extending the bench to allow for an under bench dryer and laundry hamper. We are waiting on the final drawings, but it should look something like this:
