The first quote was an astronomical $4700!! I couldn’t believe it. We are still waiting on another quote from a different company that will hopefully come in considerably less otherwise I think we will be doing a working bee with bribes of ice cold beer and food, it shouldn't take too long with a few strong blokes like this:
The other thing we need to find at the moment is a water supply place that will let us hire a water tank and automatically top it up for the duration of the build. Has anyone got any experience with a good company for this?
The countdown to site start is really on now; it is around 6 weeks away pending council approval.
