It has been a little while since an update, but then again not much has happened in that time - we are still waiting for the site prep to begin...
The final drawings have been signed off and they should be starting to clear the area for the pad within the next couple of weeks with any luck. One of our main concerns is that the build will go past mid October which is when our rental agreement runs out and we'll be left in housing limbo!
There was a huge delay with getting the final drawings signed off due to mistakes on both Plantation's and the sewerage treatment plant designers side where they were both working off different measurements for the land which was causing issues with the distances that the tanks need to be from each other and the dispersal area for the sewerage. These seem to have been fixed up now after many weeks of stress.
I went out to the land the other day for a nosy and took a few more pics, it looks like there are at least 10 houses under construction in the stage at the moment, with a couple more starting. There only seems to be one other 2-storey so far which is a Metricon Riva in the cul de sac around the corner, most people seem to have gone for a brown colour scheme which should mean that our grey's will stick out a bit more.
